Thanksgiving, Christmas, and the holiday season, in general, are all about giving & sharing. The giving of time, laughter & love with the ones you love. This time of year, conversations are usually shared-in over a juicy turkey, momma's famous sweet potato souffle and too many decadent slices of cream cheese pumpkin bread to even fit in your stomach until your sick; pumpkin pie melting in your mouth while everyone is passed out on the couch from a food coma. But these are the things that make the holidays so wonderful.
“Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are?” Matthew 6:26

let the gluten free baking for the Holidays begin...gluten free living
I have officially started the selling of my gluten free baked goods for the holidays '10. A lil Birdie bakery comes from my nickname 'birdie' that was given to me in high school by some very dear friends...thanks Dori & Laney! I was diagnosed with Celiac disease a lil over 10 years ago. Way back then, there weren't any GF mixes, flours and, especially, no bakeries to find any of it in. Now, however, it has all changed. Gluten free has become the mainstream way of living.

A lil Birdie bakery is about baking each loaf, muffin & pie with someone you love in mind. It is filled with warmth and love. These gifts include gluten free baked pumpkin breads, banana breads, muffins & pies. And why not give your mom, your great auntie, the in-laws and your hosts an unspoken gift of gratitude and love. Everybody loves baked breads, pies & desserts, and especially if they're gluten free.
